Researcher entomologist. I carried out studies on the bio-ethology, population dynamics and integrated pest management of some key pests of important Apulian agroecosystems such as vineyards, stone fruit orchards, and citrus groves. Furter investigations concerned Dociostaurus maroccanus (biological, ecological and geostatistical studies), faunistic, ecological and taxonomic studies on spiders, the use of honey bees as bioindicators, and the botanical ad geographical characterization of honey. The scientific activity is documented by about 60 papers published in national and international magazines.
