NENAD KEČA
Associate professor of Forest Pathology engaged at the courses of different levels BSc, MSc and PhD, teaching Forest Pathology, Forest Mycology, Phytopharmacy for Foresters and Head of the Forest Pathology Laboratory. Dr. Keča has experience in molecular identification (University of Aberdeen, UK) of fungal forest tree pathogens. In 2005, he obtained a Fellowship from the Norwegian Research Council to stay in the NIBIO to study the application of real-time PCR to the diagnosis of root and butt rot diseases of trees. Participated in project under the programme SEE-ERA.NET Plus-“Diversity of invading Phytophthora spp. plant pathogens in agro and forest ecosystems in Southeast Europe”. Currently is representative of Serbia and member of the Management Committees of COST Actions dealing with Hymenscyphus fraxineusmain cause of Ash (Fraxinus spp.)species decline in European countries (“FRAXBACK”) and pathways evaluation and pest risk management (“PERMIT”)
