EFSA releases the full report of “Xylella fastidiosa: knowledge gaps and research priorities for the EU” workshop
EFSA organized in Brussels, on November 12-13, 2015, a workshop entitled “Xylella fastidiosa: knowledge gaps and research priorities for the EU”, to identify gaps in knowledge and EU research priorities on the harmful pathogen.
The workshop, attended by about 130 participants (including scientists, risk assessors, risk managers, and stakeholders) from 16 EU countries and four non-EU countries, was structured through plenary sessions with presentations from keynote speakers and four discussion breakout sessions, each focusing on a different area of research.
On June 20, 2016 EFSA has released a complete report presenting the outputs of the discussions raised during the meeting, and the abstracts of all the talks given. Presentations of the plenary and breakout sessions and the recorded web streaming of the plenary sessions were already available at this link.
