TROND RAFOSS

Research scientist at NIBIO-Plant Health and Biotechnology Division. His background is from applied mathematical statistics and ecology. He has mainly worked with plant health risk assessment and methodology development in this field. Both in the context on assessment of risk of introduction of exotic plant pests and in the context of development of pest risk forecasting services for farmers use operating within the growing season. He has published over 20 peer reviewed papers. He is the chair of the Plant Health Panel of the Norwegian Scientific Committee for Food Safety and a member of the EFSA PLH panel.
