GENTIT PASCAL

As head of the virology phytoplasmology laboratory, we are dealing with all virus, viroids of temperate crops (except citrus and Potatoes) and all phytoplasmas of any cultivated, non cultivated and ornamental species.
In these domains, our main topics are the diagnostics of regulated pests, non-regulated quarantine pests and emerging pathogens, the development and publication of reference analytical methods and of identification tools based on molecular biology techniques, expertise on any relevant problems and organisation of training sessions and inter-laboratory proficiency tests and validation tests at the national and European levels.
The team is also responsible for responding to regulatory analysis needs, either directly or via independent government-accredited laboratories.
