AMANDINE CUNTY
I am a scientific officer (PhD) in the bacteriology team of the National reference laboratory. During my PhD, my research focused on Pseudomonas synringae pv actinidiae, the causal agent of bacterial canker of kiwifruit. I have experience in characterization and study of genetic diversity of bacterial strains by rep-PCR, Multilocus Sequence Analysis (MLSA) and Multilocus Sequence Typing (MLST). I have experience in epidemiological studies (development of a Multilocus VNTRs Analysis (MLVA) scheme to trace dispersal routes of bacterial populations involved in epidemics and to identify the origin of the outbreaks caused by Pseudomonas synringae pv actinidiae in France). I also have experience in the development and validation of detection method based on TaqMan real-time PCR.
