PROFILE
Aurea Imaging is a Belgian SME specialized in the production and analysis of environmental and geographic information. Based on 10 years of experience, Aurea Imaging has a skilled team and a good knowledge of the market in Europe and Latin America, with permanent offices in Belgium, Netherlands, Spain and Argentina. The company has competences in technologies and sciences like Remote Sensing, GNSS, GIS, Cartography, Environmental Sensors or RPAS-UAV. These competences are applied to several sectors like agriculture, forestry, mining, civil works, ecology or heritage among others. During the last years we have participated in several advanced EU RDI projects the most of them oriented towards Precision Agriculture and Environment, after them we have translated later all the generated knowledge into real business cases that have allowed us to become a company reference in the sector offering top state of the art solutions.
ROLE IN THE PROJECT
Aurea Imaging will participate in WP6 tasks (6c, 6d, 6e, 6f) collaborating in remote sensing activities like obtaining vegetation indices and spectral signatures for early indicators of infection and severity. We will also acquire remote sensing imagery with RPAS-UAV for the studying the early detection of CaLsol symptoms in the crops. AUREA will also install a permanent, automated network of available sampling stations, and will be also involved in validation tasks of developed sensors and methods in the field in co-operation with end-users. We will also participate in WP10 organizing a training course by the end of the project for remote sensing detection and monitoring of these harmful organisms problems for the North Europe countries. Finally like the rest of the partnership we will participate in project management tasks (WP11).
AUREA IMAGING BVBA will be involved in the following work packages: WP6, WP10, WP11
